Water - Getting The Basics Right

Hydration is one of the first habits we focus on in the program, and for good reason. It’s simple to implement, easy to improve quickly, and has a powerful knock-on effect on energy, appetite, training performance, and fat loss.

Getting your water intake right early on helps set the foundation for everything else that follows. In the video below, we cover why hydration matters and how to approach it in a practical, no-nonsense way.

General daily targets:

Women: aim for around 2 litres per day

Men: aim for around 2.5 litres per day

If you train regularly, sweat heavily or have a larger body weight, you may need to increase this by 0.5 litres per day.

Focus on consistency rather than perfection. Get this habit in place early, and the rest of the programme becomes noticeably easier to manage.
